How long was your internship?
Almost four months.
Who was your immediate supervisor?
Philip – the Lead Designer.
What department were you working in?
Creative, doing mostly Graphic Design.
What was the best thing about working in that department?
The colleagues and the projects worked on – especially the ones for big companies. It was challenging but at the same time, it was a great way to learn.
Do you think that the department was working to its full potential?
Yes and no. Everyone is hardworking and motivated but tight deadlines don’t always allow us to learn as many new things as we’d like to.
How would you describe your first day in the ANCHOVY. Offices?
My first time was the ANCHOVY. Bash so… Pretty decent 😉
The actual first day was a bit hectic and busy as a lot was happening.
What did you enjoy the most during your stay with ANCHOVY.?
The vibe, the clients and the learning curve.
Is there anything that you disliked during your stay with ANCHOVY.?
The high workload and the pace, it can be a stressful and pressured environment.
Who made you laugh the most during your stay?
Everyone from the Creative Department.
In your opinion is there anything we can do different to make things better for interns?
Briefing and supervising the interns.
Given the opportunity would you consider working for ANCHOVY. in the future?
Yes, if the office was based in the Netherlands 🙂
How would you describe the Founders?
Relaxed but very busy guys!
Did you find all the help you needed to follow through the program?
Yes, I’ve learned a lot from my colleagues.
What’s the one thing you are taking with you from being at ANCHOVY.?
The projects I worked on and the vibe of the company.
What did you think about the office culture and environment?
Definitely different than a normal traditional office and never boring!
What about Fridays?
Cool – I enjoyed the breakfast and after-work drinks, there’s also a different vibe that feels like Friday.
Do you feel like you accomplished what you wanted to accomplish from your Internship?
How do you feel about leaving?
Kind of sad as I’ve already started getting used to it but happy I’m going to back to my family!
